John Bowe and family papers, 1675-1816, 1876-1946.

Papers of John Bowe (1869-1954), of Canby and Minneapolis (Minnesota), regarding his military service in the Spanish-American War and with the French Foreign Legion in World War I, his role in several American veterans' organizations and in lobbying for veterans' rights, his business and political activities, and his nationalistic and anti-Semitic activities and writings in the 1930s and 1940s. The majority were kept as four scrapbooks.
